To prepare Aileen for her debut in high society, her father, Daggerick, hires a private tutor; Leofwyne. Despite his low status, Leofwyne has an impressive track record of successfully introducing numerous aristocrastic children into the social scene, earning him widespread recognition among the nobility. Thus begins Aileen’s private lessons with Leofwyne. However, from the very beginning, Aileen finds Leofwyne utterly disagreeable and starts plotting ways to make him quit on his own.
